Recognising that much of the technology used for large-scale digital production of point-of-sale displays and corrugated packaging is similar to the equipment already found in many small and medium-sized sign-making and wide-format printing businesses, we have chosen to explore how these companies can expand their product offering—and create new business opportunities.
The growing demand for short production runs makes this particularly relevant. There are several reasons for this, but one of the key drivers is the increasing use of AI (artificial intelligence), which gives brand owners faster and deeper insights into customer behaviour. This enables them to update campaigns, messaging, and customer experiences more frequently, leading to shorter and more frequent production runs.
At the same time, it has become economically viable to produce these short runs using the equipment many sign and graphics companies already own—a wide-format printer and a digital cutting table. What was once reserved for major retail chains and global brands is now accessible to smaller businesses as well.
Visit the exhibition to discover new products you can manufacture and sell to your customers—applications you may never have considered before but that could become valuable additions to your business.
